I am a United States Air Force veteran, a former Government contractor, and a former Orvis Fishing Manager.
I have had the opportunity to fish all around the world, wherever work took me. I have spent the greater part of the last two decades fishing the local waterways of Virginia and Maryland, as well as hosting fishing trips to Tennessee, New York, Montana, and Belize.
Instruction has always been a common thread throughout my varied careers. I am a Fly Fishers International Certified Casting Instructor. Allen Fly Casting is my passion project with a goal to provide high-quality casting instruction to novices and enthusiasts alike.
